Welcome to Bike Island
Hilton Head has always been known as a world class destination for both golf & tennis. Recently, the island has also become known as a world class biking destination as well. The town of Hilton Head is a GOLD Level bicycle friendly community from the League of American Cyclists.
Hilton Head maintains over 64 miles of leisure paths and nature trails around the island. Many of the islands gated communities also provide private trails available to owners, visitors and guests.

I love discovering all that Hilton Head has to offer by bike including the 12 miles of wide sandy beaches at low tide. There are some other great biking spots to explore in the area as well. I love loading my mountain bike in the car and heading to nearby Pickney Island. In fact, biking is one of the best ways to explore the 4,053-acre Island, part of the National Wildlife Refuge.
